I SOOOO wanted to go to Grattan this year - but it doesn't look like it's gonna happen for me either. Get some good video, Collin - I'll be interested in your impressions of the track. It's supposed to be a little on the bumpy side.

Just to get a feel for the bumpy nature of this track and elevation changes, etc. here is a TTD car doing a spin:

Very difficult but fun track! Had a great time. Second session on sunday I thought it might have been my best on-track session of my life, lol. The course is very challenging... atleast four blind turns and some of the elevation would crest at apex, getting the car light and squirrely right where you need the most grip. Truly a 3-D element at Grattan. Highly recommended for those looking for a challenge!

I had 6 competitors in TTC all weekend and got second place both days.

Saturday times:
David Proudfoot - S2000 - 1:33.378
Collin Mizeur - M3 - 1:34.924
Dale Cluse - Mustang GT - 1:35.758
Ken Frey - GTO - 1:37.090
Charles Bond - Cobalt SS - 1:38.044
Jason Remley - 350Z - 1:40.560

Same finishing order on Sunday. Laptimes improved except for the 350Z.
David Proudfoot 1:32.153
Collin Mizeur 1:32.863
Dale Cluse 1:34.614
Ken Frey 1:36.652
Jason Remley 1:41.706

There is more speed in the car... I just have to get quicker at exploiting it and Grattan is a scary place to find that extra speed, lol. I usually prefer a more gradual pace at getting up to speed but TT is helping motivate me to crank off fast laps off the bat. It's a lot of fun. My 2nd place finishes allowed me to tie Dale for first place in season points. Everybody gets to scratch off their four lowest results so once the Stook driver drops Putnam, he is the one to beat.

Rest of the season will be my strongest game. Three days at Autobahn and two days at Road America... two tracks I have my greatest strengths. Hoping for a strong finish to the season!
