Anyone else wanna go?? It's now late registration but (eh) oh well. Grissom AFB is a nice site, lots of grip, limited bumps and has some off camber areas. This is the same site as I attended the National Tour (see video section for in car vids).

Ross, Andy, this is right next to you guys! Dave, check out the AS entry list!! Marty, Chris, there's already 6 cars in ESP!

There is a local event the same weekend, but it's at Rantoul.

I doubt we'll go. We may not even make the Rantoul event that weekend. We are co-driving the HPDE in Joliet at Autobahn on the 20th. We may go up there Sunday night for early tech, and to keep from getting up at 4:30 Monday morning since the event starts at 7:00am.

I don't think either one of us wants to risk hurting the car before then.

Word...picking up the car trailer in the morning, loading up the subaru and then leaving. I have no idea what time but if you wanted to drop by my place then we could roll out together. My plan is to go up 55 to Rt 24 (?) all the way there. You might know a better route though.

oh, and I bought an escalade today

Change of plans sorry... although i will be in Decatur Friday morning i need to stop by Purdue and get my rear race tires flipped (they are still at Purdue) and put all my crap into my pit crew's car! But, if you want to tag along for the detour you are welcome to - if not that's cool too. We will be at Grissom at around 5.

How bad of a detour is it? Can you get somebody to flip the tires for you and have them loaded in the support vehicle? Shouldn't cost much to have them remounted.

If you're going to go the way I went to the subaru challenge, then I could probably take that route instead of Rt 24 and then we just break away where necessary.

How big is your crew (cars and support vehicles)? I can reserve a nice line of empty pit space for you guys if I get there before you. I was hoping to be up there by about 3 or 4pm EST.
