What is it with you and only having fun in perfect weather? Your water allergy has already cost you lots of fun this year. I do hope you take showers occasionally.

No kidding low power, agile cars are a blast in the wet. High power cars, less so. I'm out because I now have time to do the "inspection repair list" prior to closing on the sale of my other home. May also have a garage sale. If anyone wants a free modest wall mounted tire/wheel rack, it's your if you come and get it off my garage wall.

I also hate extreme heat, but you guys are both right. Although I'm on week 5 of the never ending head and chest cold I should come out. It might just be fun, right?

I had the same thing last year, so this year I just did what they said last year. Sudafed and Mucinex, that's my diet these days and I get a little better daily.

Sudafed is non-prescription, but you have to buy it at the pharmacy counter and give them your ID, because it is sometimes used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.

As for the allergy idea, I thought that too when it first started so I took some Claritin, which is what I take for my fall allergies, but it had no effect. Plus my wife has the same symptoms. She actually went to the doctor and was told to take some kind of antacid, believe it or not.

No and no. Sudafed has been over the counter for many years -- now you have to get it at the counter. I've been taking Allegra D (has sudafed as the D part but 1 step better than Claritin D) for 25 years.
