I bet there will be plenty of prepped S2000's for sale now that everyone has seen how fast the ND's can be.

I got see the ND stock and STR (not really more like CSP on street tires) out on the practice course and have read Hollis and Bauer's thoughts. While the car is nice, light and grunty, it also will bring with it real gearing issues which will require a lot of shifting. As we knowing shifting takes time. I'm am doubtful it will displace the S2000 as king of STR.

That would be really cool to see.

I'm thinking about it. This year was out b/c there was no way I could go since my boss had to take off time to study for boards and I had to hold down the fort.

However, after having such a crappy experience 2 years ago, car breaking down, and co driving another's very badly - I'm not so sure and am on the fence at this point.

Interesting read. Looks like Clark bought a good car.

Thanks for that. I've known the article was coming and appreciate the link. It really suggests the M3, while very good, is not a serious overdog. Given that, the SEB would be hard pressed to support its removal after 2016.

I guess it all depends on the new Camaro's performance and how many FS competitors show up in a German car. But yes, it very much looks like it is to stay in FS.

The 2016 Camaro is reported to being something on the order of 250-350# lighter. With all things being equal, it looks very fast and appealing.
