http://www.goham-ind.com/blog.html/h...gestone-re71r/ sounds like the tires are pretty decent, at least on the road course. very impressed, I didn't think much of the tread pattern but I guess they're ok

1. Like I said on FB, they definitely get better with heat, and I, too, struggled with oversteer as the rears stayed cold (around 85-90F) while the left front was hitting 110-115F.

b. Nobody cares about maximum G in data. This guy is risking his credibility with his second bullet point.

iii. Predictability of this tire on the limit also increases with temperature. Run 1 breakaway is rather vague. By the end of 6 runs, they are very communicative and easy to drive right on the edge. This may have been a function of mold release and "scrubbing in". My main concern is that this predictable nature will be lost with heat cycles, just as it was with RS3v2 (not so much with v1).

So they found the 225/45/15 RS4 to be .2 faster than the 205/50/15 RE-71R, on a 15x8 wheel, on a ~2 minute road course. Crazy
That's not great news for the Hankook.

After closer inspection of said blog, this isn't a tire test period. This is just some guy with one set of wheels, doing HPDE's with traffic, comparing lap times on RS4's this past month, to lap times he did last year on RE-71R. Lol.

Different widths, different dates, different conditions. You could not have implemented more variables to contradict conclusions. For those who disagree, disregard my opinion and buy away.
