Swapped out the stock heat exchanger for a very large aftermarket unit from gords performance. Really takes up some space. Quite a bit bigger than the stocker. Also took me awhile to work the air out of the pump. Took the car out for a test drive and the intercooler fluid was nice and cold when I got back.

It is a single pass unit with roughly double the cooling capacity and volume of the stock unit.

I also moved the shifter handle back about 1.5 inches using some custom engineering with some sheet metal and tin snips. Much more comfortable now.

Should have it out tomorrow if I don't bring the fox.

Nice. A friend of mine has had a Gord's HE for several years and it's never given him any problems.

What shifter do you have on the car?

Shifter is a Pro 5.0 with the comfort handle. It was still way too far forward for me even with the handle. I would have to move my seat too far forward to reach 3rd and 5th. Now it feels just about right.
