The official Hornswoggler vs. dnace auto-x bet

Well here it is: This weekend on Sunday Collin (hornswoggler) and I will have a little fun bet to see who can do better with their car.

Conditions to win:
As it stands, Fastest time from each driver in their car based on the PAX index of the car they run. (normal runs that qualify for the daily reults will be used, no grudge result that will be for fun)

Alternatively, I told collin he can bring street tires and I will run him in RAW times.

If dnace wins:

He can change hornswoggler's custom user title and signature at will for one month.

user titles may be :
will be one of these:
autox > HPDE's
I need more seat time
Segment Analisass

Additionally,
For one month each time hornswoggler types any of the following words sux or sucks will have to follow:

-Bmw/bimmer/M3/etc whatever he classifies his car as
-traqmate
-Trackday/HPDE/etc
-analysis/segment analysis, etc
-Tetris, cultris

If Hornswoggler wins:
He can change dnace's custom user title and signature at will for one month.

user titles may include :
Resident Conepacker

Additionally,
For one month each time dnace types any of the following words sux or sucks will have to follow:

-Engagement/Wedding
-Auto-x/autocross
-Brake pads
-Harnesses
-Street tires

My personal goal is to beat dnace in raw times. If he wins the bet on pax (which I expect him to), all in good fun. Not like I have any money on this... my plan is to have fun. dnace was pressing pretty hard for this PAX comparison (i cant call it taliban classing anymore or racerx11 gets mad...) so I will grant this the chance for David and all other autocrossers to take their shot. :)

If I wanted to win on PAX, I would bring my stock Integra GS-R. Instead, I would prefer to see if Chris can pilot my car to a top three finish overall.

Ok, raw times sound better. Top three over all? Doubtful if the BM car is there along with Russ and Ross in their cars....unless you're packing a supercharger under the hood or something.

If we have our usual crowd, then top 3 will be quite hard. If not, then its up in the air IMO.

I'm with you. However, I think he is referring to raw time, which is doable (I hope). The Bimmer should be faster than Ross on raw time, but gets it's clock cleaned on PAX. The BM is in a class unto itself (duh!), and you and Russ, well, if I get close I'll be happy. I haven't run that car in over 2 years I believe and from what Collin says it has gone on a diet since. If that's the case it should be pretty damn quick. Here's hoping the driver isn't the weak link.:)

I won't be there on Sunday. Sounds like the Beemer is pretty fast. I'll be impressed if you can beat Russ' times on Ra1's. I'll actually be impressed if you beat Ross if he is still on the A6's. Judging how you drive the Comaro, anything's possible.:)

Can you shrink it down just a bit or crop the top half or something? thats a HUGE sig. I would be glad to pimp it, just trying to not consume everybody's entire screen for every thread. :)

I lost for two reasons. #1 because I get lost and can't always find my way around the course. Of the four auto-x events in my life, there has only been one course that I could reasonably follow and that was an urbanc design. Maybe because it was at the smaller bloomington airport parking lot and less than 255 feet from one gate to another. If the courses were chalked, I could put more concentration into the driving and less focus on making sure I don't go off course. Would have helped to get there earlier and walk teh course multiple times, draw maps, etc. but I need all the beauty rest I can get on the weekends.

#2 reason is because M3's suck! I blame the car. :p

Sorry about Saturday's course design. I spent way to much time trying build some new things into the course, and didn't make sure it could be followed by guys that don't autoX all the time.

Not so good. I really only had one clean run Saturday. Good enough for second. I can't remember the time but was 3 seconds slower than MY time in the vette lol.

Sunday was better but I still spun out on almost every run but one where I got a high 46. Going to put the exhaust back on for the next one and see if it is truly the reason or its due to the newly dirty track!
